Luce Nera’s art prints are not merely decorative pictures, but fragments of an intimate, shared journey. Every artwork reveals a presence, a gesture, a tension between light and shadow, offering the viewer a space for deep connection.
Luce Nera is a contemporary art photography project exploring the nude as a space for relationship, intimacy, and awareness.
A visual dialogue between light and shadow, body and matter, where the picture becomes an emotional and sensory language.
We are Giada and Marco, life partners for over fifteen years and co-authors of Luce Nera
This project was born from the meeting of our personal, artistic, and relational experiences, transformed into photographic works.
Luce Nera took shape in 2023, during a period of deep introspection and creative exploration.
Marco Palermo, a professional photographer, begins a studio experimentation focused on the relationship between the human body, artificial light, and shadow, exploring the materiality of the nude in a contemporary key.
Giada Marraghini oversees the creative and conceptual aspects of the project. With a degree in languages, she lives photography as an additional language, capable of expressing what goes beyond words and giving visual form to inner experience.
In 2024, we chose to leave everything behind for a one-year journey through India and Southeast Asia. This experience broadened our perspective, deeply influencing our artistic vision and how we narrate the body through photography.
Upon returning, Luce Nera was definitively born: an authentic, personal, and free artistic nude project, where our relationship becomes an integral part of the work. Every photograph is the result of a real, conscious, and unrepeatable encounter.
